About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Pro-Peptides website or place an order for products through it.

Please read these terms before placing an order. They explain important information about the products we supply, the ordering process, payment, delivery, cancellations, problems with orders and the responsibilities of both parties.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read these terms and agree that they will apply to the resulting contract.

Nothing in these terms affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

02

Our products

Pro-Peptides supplies specialist products intended exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical and research purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products offered through this website are not supplied as medicines, pharmaceutical products, food, food supplements, cosmetics or veterinary products.

Products are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, administration, treatment, diagnosis or therapeutic use.

Product descriptions, quantities, concentrations and other specifications shown on the relevant product page form part of the information on which your purchase is based.

03

Who may place an order

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order through Pro-Peptides.

By ordering a product, you confirm that you are purchasing it for a lawful purpose and that you understand the stated research-use limitations applicable to the product.

You are responsible for determining whether the purchase, possession, handling and intended research use of a product is lawful in the jurisdiction in which you are located.

We reserve the right to decline an order where we reasonably believe that fulfilling it would be unlawful or where there are reasonable grounds to believe that a product is being purchased for a purpose inconsistent with its stated research use.

04

Placing an order

Products can be selected through the Pro-Peptides catalogue and added to your shopping cart before checkout.

Before submitting your order, you are responsible for checking that the products, quantities, variations, delivery details and other information shown are correct.

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products shown in your order.

Receipt of an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. A contract is formed when we accept your order and provide confirmation that it has been accepted or dispatched, as applicable to our ordering process.

If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and, where payment has already been taken, arrange for the appropriate amount to be returned.

05

Prices and payment

The price payable for a product is the price displayed during the checkout process at the time your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious pricing errors.

Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown before you submit your order where required.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available during checkout.

Your order may not enter fulfilment until payment has been successfully authorised or otherwise confirmed.

If an obvious pricing or product information error is identified before fulfilment, we may contact you to explain the issue and provide the appropriate options rather than supplying the product on the basis of that error.

06

Product availability

All products are subject to availability.

Stock information displayed on the website is intended to provide a current indication of availability but may occasionally change before an order is processed.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and provide the appropriate options, which may include a refund for the unavailable product.

We may discontinue products or change the products offered through the website from time to time.

07

Dispatch and delivery

Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery information will be provided through the website or checkout where applicable.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees unless a particular delivery date has expressly been agreed as binding.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.

Where a delivery is delayed or cannot be completed, your rights will be determined in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

Further information is available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Cancellations and change of mind

If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us as quickly as possible.

Orders can move into fulfilment quickly, so we cannot guarantee that an operational request to stop an order will reach our fulfilment process before dispatch.

Where you have a statutory right to cancel an online purchase, that right is not removed by these terms.

Certain categories of goods may be excluded from statutory cancellation rights in particular circumstances. Any such exception will only be relied upon where it lawfully applies.

Our voluntary returns position and the procedure for reporting problems with an order are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

09

Damaged, incorrect or defective products

If your order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect product, is missing an item, or you believe a product is defective or does not conform to your order, please contact us promptly.

We may request information or photographs reasonably necessary to investigate what has happened.

Please retain the product, parcel, shipping label and packaging while the issue is being investigated where reasonably possible.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

10

Research-use requirements

Products supplied by Pro-Peptides are intended exclusively for laboratory, analytical and research purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.

Products must not be used for human or veterinary administration, consumption, diagnosis, treatment or therapeutic purposes.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are handled by appropriately knowledgeable persons and that suitable laboratory practices, storage conditions and safety procedures are followed.

You must not relabel, market or represent a Pro-Peptides research product as being approved or intended for a purpose for which it was not supplied.

Information published through our Research Hub, product pages or elsewhere on the website is provided for research, scientific and informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice.

11

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by use of a product for a purpose that is expressly prohibited by its description or by these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

We are also not responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for deterioration or damage caused after delivery by inappropriate storage, contamination, mishandling or other treatment outside our control.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12

Use of this website

You may use the Pro-Peptides website for lawful purposes and to obtain information about or purchase products made available through it.

You must not deliberately interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorised access to systems or data, introduce malicious software, or use the website in a way that infringes the rights of another person.

We may update, change, suspend or withdraw website functionality where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

13

Personal information

We process personal information in connection with website use, customer accounts, orders, payments, delivery and customer service.

Information about how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected is provided in our Privacy Policy.

14

General terms

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

A delay by either party in enforcing a right does not automatically mean that the right has been waived.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applying to an order will normally be those in force when the relevant contract was entered into.

Nothing in these terms is intended to give a person who is not a party to the contract a right to enforce its provisions except where applicable law provides otherwise.

15

Governing law

These terms and contracts formed through the Pro-Peptides website are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section removes any mandatory protections or rights relating to where proceedings may lawfully be brought.
