Kisspeptin-10 10mg | Research Peptide
Kisspeptin-10 (KP-10) is a decapeptide derived from the KISS1 peptide family and an established ligand of the GPR54/KISS1R receptor. It is widely investigated in laboratory and preclinical research concerning KISS1/GPR54 signalling, neuroendocrine pathways, reproductive biology and cellular signalling.
Supplied by Pro-Peptides as a 10mg lyophilised research peptide for laboratory and analytical investigation only.
For laboratory and research purposes only. Not intended for human or veterinary use.
Not intended for human or veterinary use. This product is supplied exclusively for laboratory and analytical research.
Research overview.
Kisspeptin-10, commonly abbreviated to KP-10, is the ten-amino-acid peptide sequence YNWNSFGLRF and belongs to the kisspeptin family encoded by the KISS1 gene. Kisspeptins are recognised as endogenous ligands of the G-protein-coupled receptor GPR54, also known as KISS1R.
Kisspeptin signalling has become an established area of scientific investigation. Published research has examined the KISS1/GPR54 system in areas including neuroendocrine and reproductive signalling, neuronal activity and cellular pathways associated with migration and metastasis.
Kisspeptin-10 provides researchers with the shorter biologically active sequence of the kisspeptin family and has been used experimentally to investigate GPR54-mediated signalling and downstream cellular responses.

Areas of scientific investigation
Kisspeptin-10 has been investigated experimentally in relation to:
- KISS1/GPR54 receptor signalling
- neuroendocrine signalling
- reproductive biology
- GnRH-associated pathways
- neuronal signalling
- intracellular signalling pathways
- cellular migration and metastasis research
These are research areas rather than claimed therapeutic effects. Published literature describes Kisspeptin-10/GPR54 signalling in several of these experimental contexts.
